NARUTO The Last Tribute: What If Edits

We all know that Naruto has ended last November 10 at Chapter 700 and the last Naruto movie will be premiering on December 6. It's been 15 years of shinobi action and adventure with the series' protagonist, Naruto Uzumaki… and he has herded a lot of fans ever since.

I was quite the fan of this anime back in high school, I'm still a fan until now but not like the ultimate Narutard I was then. The series has now come full circle-- but there are still things that leave the fans wondering about, and hopefully all of that is answered in the last film (or the mini series).

WHAT IF...

Kakashi removes his mask.

I HAVE WAITED 15 YEARS FOR THIS MOMENT.

Kakashi has been portrayed to wear his mask ever since he was a kid and it has no doubt sparked intrigue amongst fans. The anime has dedicated a filler episode regarding the mystery behind the mask and even Masashi Kishimoto made an ōmake about it.

A recent interview with Kishimoto reveals that he has been wanting to show what was behind Kakashi's mask but isn't sure when. He has said he will either have it revealed on the last film or the later mini series.

Sakura has bigger boobs

I swear, these were smaller earlier.

Sakura is known to have a tiny chest ever since the first series and has been subject to ridicule by fans, it's even a running gag in the series itself. But what if our perky heroine was well-endowed like Hinata?  Doesn't seem fitting though.

Itachi didn't have tear troughs

*swoons*

Itachi and his brother Sasuke are really blessed with a the sexy Uchiha bloodline. Itachi is undoubtedly quite handsome, and he could have been hotter without those long tear-troughs.

Sasuke had shorter hair

He's shocked of his hair too.

Sasuke's bangs and his duck butt hair have been his defining assets ever since, and has been letting his hair grow longer. But what if he got sick of it and got a haircut instead, to save shampoo costs maybe. He still looks fine... and I bet he's still a lady killer with it. In my opinion anyway.

Naruto had longer hair in the epilogue

He originally looked like an egg.

The Naruto fandom broke when teasers reveal Naruto sporting very short hair in the concluding moments of the series. Prior to that, fans have been visualising the blonde hero to have long hair like his father Minato when he finally attains the Hokage title-- but no, he wanted to save a lot of shampoo instead.

This is my rendition of Naruto sharing a similar hairstyle with his father. It actually kind of looks like Naruto is cosplaying Sasuke… and he seems hotter.

Shikamaru had his hair down

What a drag...

Shika always has his hair tied to a spiky ponytail and was hardly ever shown to have it worn down. There was a manga chapter where they were in a bath and had his hair loose but I guess that was it. Maybe he's so lazy he doesn't bother untying his hair.

Shino has EYES

"Maybe if I took off my glasses, people will remember me better."

Well, biologically Shino has eyes… but it's always hidden under heavily tinted eye gear and has not once been revealed to have taken them off. I guess the eye wear trend is unique to the Aburame clan (which probably has something to do with their bug jutsu). In the edit I gave him a pair of onyx eyes, which to be honest is very fitting for him. It would probably help people not forget him often.

Damnit Shino, I hope that shoots lasers.

Neji never died

RIP bby Neji

The day Neji went up to ninja heaven was a sad day for Naruto fans everywhere. It was expected and totally unexpected. Neji was once on the verge of death in part 1 of the series and apparently that was foreshadowing his eventual fate. People naturally die but most of the fans expected Neji to have babies with Tenten or something. Anyhow, if he didn't die-- I imagined him to sport the same duds as his father Hizashi.
